Welcome to camp!
Sitting on 50 acres on the shores of Bass Lake in Traverse City, Camp Carvela gives campers seemingly boundless space to hike, adventure, craft, and imagine. At Carvela, we’re unplugged, giving our campers time and space to choose their own adventures every day.
With supportive staff, campers co-design what camp days look like – days that are inclusive of all and full of creativity. You’ll find Carvela campers working on masterpieces in the beloved art house, swimming in Bass Lake, playing games throughout camp, or even writing songs. There is no shortage of inspiration for campers at Carvela!
